DescriptionThe advent of HPC introduced a paradigm shift that enabled the solution of advanced computational problems that would otherwise remain intractable. A second way of innovation has now fused HPC with artificial intelligence algorithms, powered with innovative hardware architectures. The application of this novel paradigm has been at the core of a number of scientific breakthroughs since 2012. It is just recently that the academic sector has started to embrace this new approach to tackle long-standing problems across science domains. In this talk, we present a novel framework that combines HPC simulations, observational astronomy and artificial intelligence algorithms to push the frontiers of multimessenger astronomy.
