Quantum Computing at IBM
TimeTuesday, June 26th12:07pm - 12:30pm
DescriptionRecently we have seen an explosion of interest in quantum computing outside of fundamental physics. Leveraging over fifty years of research, IBM is leading the endeavor to bring quantum computing out of the lab and into the hands of anyone with an internet connection. With the introduction of the Quantum Experience in 2016, IBM has helped over 80,000 users, commercial, academic, and hobbyist alike, run over three million executions on real quantum hardware. In this talk, we will focus on infrastructure being developed at IBM, the Quantum Experience, QISKit, and the Q network, that foster the exploration of applications on current and near-term quantum devices by users and clients around the world.
