Weronika Filinger is an HPC Application Developer and has been working at the Edinburgh Parallel Computing Centre (EPCC) since 2013. She has been deeply involved in the design, development and delivery of the first Massive Open Online Course (MOOC) on Supercomputing aimed at general public, and she facilitated all three runs of the course. More recently, Weronika has become a co-chair of the Outreach Committee of the SIGHPC Educational Chapter.
During her time at EPCC, Weronika has worked on a number of collaborative projects such as CRESTA, ADEPT and APES. She has also provided a consultancy for the Software Sustainability Institute and provides support for the users of the AMBER package on the UK National Supercomputer ARCHER. She also plays an active role in the current HPC-Europa project, supporting visitors hosted by EPCC.
