Robert Schöne works as a post-doc at Technische Universität Dresden. His research includes micro-architectural features of processors, as well as tools and methods for measuring and tuning performance and energy-efficiency of parallel applications. Currently, he manages the EU Horizon2020 project READEX in which researchers from the fields of HPC and Embedded Systems develop an automated tool-suite for tuning energy efficiency. Robert Schöne received his PhD in computer science from Technische Universität Dresden, Germany. Since he received his diploma, he published more than 30 papers. In 2013, he was the local organizer of the 4th International Conference on Energy-Aware High Performance Computing (EnA-HPC).
