Martin Bauer studied Computational Engineering at the University Erlangen-Nuremberg. He is currently a research assistant at Professor Ulrich Rüde's chair for system simulation at the FAU in Erlangen. His research interests are massively parallel lattice Boltzmann and phase-field simulations as well as systematic performance engineering and code generation techniques. He is one of the main developers of the massively parallel multi-physics simulation framework waLBerla.
